I am Rohan Wishard, studying in BSc I year at SoftVision College ,Indore. When i had joined Eminent Biosciences during my first semester , i was not knowing anything in Bioinformatics. I had only some bookish knowledge, good only to score in an exam .But practically i knew nothing about the various commercial softwares used in the industry. But thanks to the six month "industry driven" training course I underwent at Eminent Biosciences, now I can work on various softwares , and have also presented a research paper in the Young Scientist Award Session at 1st IFIP international bioinformatics conference, at Surat,Gujarat (March 2010). I feel very comfortable working with Whole Genome analysis, SNP Genotyping, miRNA mapping, pathway analysis, protein 3D Modeling, Molecular Docking and many more.After the training , the project which i am working on now has also helped me sharpen my skills. I am very grateful to my guide Dr Anuraj Nayarisseri and also to Dr. Mukesh Yadav, for teaching me a great deal of Bioinformatics.
